We host several pedagogical workshops, technology trainings, faculty forums throughout the academic year. Out goal is to ensure that our faculty, many of who are industry professionals first and faculty second, have the resources they need to build or hone their teaching skills.
Topics include: engaging students in the classroom, creating inclusive environments, using authentic assessments, gamifying learning, teaching in a fully asynchronous class, and leveraging generative AI.
Our OLI Faculty Liaisons also host 1-2 faculty forums to allow our faculty community to connect with and learn from each other.
