Cross-Cultural Analysis - (Winter Study Abroad)

Students travel abroad during Winter intersession to two European cities, studying the fashion, culture, and history of the selected area. This trip is generally 9-12 days and takes place prior to the start of the spring semester.

Buying and Competitive Shop

Students under faculty supervision visit London to study the factors involved in fashion retailing, assortment differences and pricing analysis. Students have meetings with key retailers to understand their retail strategies and business models.

Rebirth and Revolution - Arts in Florence

Students study Italian Art from the Ancient through Baroque periods, with a focus on the rebirth and revolution of the Renaissance. The course includes field trips to major museums, architectural landmarks, and other cultural sites.

London Summer Term

Classroom learning is supplemented by excursions to major cultural sites, such as The Tate Modern, Victoria and Albert Museum, West End theatrical productions, the British Museum, the British Library, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, National Theater, and Shakespeare’s Globe.
