The Engaged Classroom: Practical Strategies for Improving Participation

Lecturing to students in the classroom is not inherently negative; however, research demonstrates that active learning significantly enhances students' ability to deeply understand and retain content.

In this session, we’ll explore strategies for engaging learners in the classroom. You’ll have the opportunity to share your approaches, and we’ll introduce techniques like the Jigsaw method.

By the end of this session, you’ll be equipped with one or two practical strategies to effectively engage students in both in-person and virtual classroom settings.
